About the Event
In this course we dive deep into different aspects of breathing. You will gain a deeper understanding how you can use breathing for relaxation, meditation, transformation and much more. The course is focussed on practicing, feeling and exploring breathing. So most of the time you will be breathing with closed eyes, rather than passively looking at a screen😊
There will be a maximum of 8 participants, so that the course stays personal and leaves enough room for interaction and questions.
More about the course
This course is suitable both for people that are new to breathing exercises as breathing experts. Important is that you are motivated to practice and explore.
Basically we embark on a journey with a small group to learn and practice more about breath. The specific exercise are based on what I find important, interesting and what feels appropriate for the group in the moment. I will share my current insights in breathing and see where this journey leads us. There is no fixed program.
That being said. It will definitely contain many ways and tricks to use breathing to relax or meditate, you will learn how to make your own breathing exercise and insights on what is ‘good breathing’ and how to practice it. There will be breathing exercise to calm your mind and others to challenge you. And the course will help you to increase both your awareness and intuition and help you to make breathing exercises a part of your normal life.
The structure of the course
Every week, there will be a group class, homework and morning session.
Group class: 2 hours of diving deep into an aspect of breath. We will spend time to really feel and explore a specific part of breathing. For example breath awareness, or using breathing to relax.
If you can’t make it to a session, you can get the recording. But it is best to be there live, because of the interactive nature of the class.
Homework: The homework is aimed at integrating the theme of the week into your daily life. The homework will be 10-20 minutes of daily practice. I will be available for questions during the week.
Morning session: Every week I will guide a Mindful Morning session of 30 min. The session will be related to the theme of the week. You can either join live or listen to the recording on a moment that suits you.
Dates and times
Groupclasses: every Tuesday evening 6:30 – 8:30 pm CET from 13th of April till the 11th of May
Morning sessions: every Wednesday morning 7:30-8:00 (or whenever works for you by listening to the recording.
